Welcome new Menon Lab members!

We are excited to welcome two new graduate students to the Menon Lab!

Marc Torres joins us from the University of North Texas, where he completed his Master of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering in Summer 2026.

Surabhi Patekar joins us from California, where she was working since 2025, after receiving her Master of Biotechnology degree from TAMU.

Menon Lab Undergraduate Research Presentation at the COE S-REU 2026!

Menon Lab S-REU student Rushton Trees presented his research at the College of Engineering S-REU poster session yesterday! Rushton’s project was on the biomechanical characterization and optimization of a 3D-bioprinted hydrogel for the treatment of diabetic foot ulcer.

Our publication on inhalable nanoparticles for targeted pulmonary fibrosis treatment is featured in the Most Popular Articles collection at RSC Journal of Materials Chemistry B 2025!

Huge kudos to our previous graduate students Kalindu Perera and Moez Ghumman for their hard work, and many thanks to Dr. Yang Zhou and his team at Brown University for the fantastic collaboration.
